We are committed to providing the best and safest transportation for all of our students. We train our drivers at our own facility to ensure each one is properly informed of any safety issues that may arise.
On a daily basis, the school corporation transportation department operates sixty-six bus routes twice a day, travels 2,916 miles, and transports more than 2,500 students.
The Transportation Department consists of more than forty employees including:
Chaise Penrod, Director of Transportation;
Melia Clawson, Transportation Administrative Assistant;
Mechanic Rodney Watters;
and forty-four of Indiana's safest bus drivers.
